Thank you for visiting my campaign page.  I am excited to announce that I am running for re-election this November 2023.  During my first term, I have looked for innovated ways to provide more convenience to Chesterfield County's citizens when paying their taxes.  I will continue to strive for these conveniences as well as to continue to provide the best customer service.

Beginning in 2020, my office implemented an online payment portal, which allows citizens the ease of paying property taxes anytime from the comfort of their home or office.  We are in the process of upgrading that portal - stay tuned!  You can find the payment portal at this link: https://www.msbpay.com/ChesterfieldCountyTreasurer/

Our next implementation was to install JACK.  JACK stands for Justified Automated Collections Kiosk, and is a payment kiosk for payment of property taxes and utility bills.  These payment kiosk allow 24/7 access for those who can’t get to our office during our business hours.  JACK speaks both English and Spanish, to guide the user in making payments, and accepts all forms of payments; cash, checks, as well as credit/debit cards.  We have three payment kiosks currently installed, with two additional locations for 2023.  Our goal with these kiosks is to make it easier and more convenient for you to make payments.

  • Lane B. Ramsey Building - 9901 Lori Rd
  • North Courthouse Library 325 Courthouse Rd
  • Meadowdale Library 4301 Meadowdale Blvd
  • Clover Hill  Library 6701 Deer Run Dr COMING APRIL 2023
  • Midlothian Library 521 Coalfield Rd COMING WITH THE COMPLETION OF THE NEW MIDLOTHIAN LIBRARY

Our latest project is JIL – Justified In-house Lockbox.  This means we are now processing all mailed-in payments in the Treasurer's Office.  Many taxpayers expressed to me that they were not happy that our payments were mailed to and processed in Charlotte, NC.  I listened to these concerns and implemented this new process in April 2022.  By bringing this processing in-house, we have kept the work within our office, which means better control and quality of service.  This was done with no additional cost to the County, and provides better customer service to you.

To say I love my job as treasurer is an understatement.  Serving the County and its citizens with the best I have is right where I want to be.  I am very thankful for each of you that supported me in 2019 and continue to support me as I run for re-election in 2023.
